Although icy streets are part of winter, you can survive slippery weather intact! 

Snow ploughing and sanding yards are at the top of the list for our maintenance companies. It is our responsibility to ensure safe access to the properties.

When the weather is icy, the yards of the properties are sanded as quickly as possible. However, winter weather often changes, i.e. there is alternating cold and warm weather, and the streets can become icy very quickly. Therefore, it is always a good idea to walk carefully, even if the yard areas are generally sanded.

For example, there are outdoor staircases in the areas of our properties that are not covered by winter maintenance. These stairways are marked with “ei talvikunnossapitoa” (no winter maintenance) signs and we recommend avoiding them in winter and especially in slippery weather to avoid slipping.

Please note that parking areas will only be plowed if the plow can fit between the cars or the parking space is empty at the time of plowing. Manual snow removal and possible sanding of the parking spaces are the responsibility of the parking space renter.
