Mikontalo
In the summer, a renovation project began in Mikontalo, where shared apartments for three will be changed into studio apartments and small two-room apartments. There will be 48 renovated apartments in each staircase – so, a total of 192 apartments. The apartments in block A are be ready to move in to these apartments already in the beginning of 2024!
You can apply for the renovated apartments of B-block starting on Friday 22 December 2023. There will be 22,5-square-meter studios and 40,5-square-meter family apartments in the B-block.
The whole renovation will be completed next summer and the apartments will be ready and open for applications in stages block by block. Follow the “What’s New” section on our website. There, we will announce when you can apply for the apartments of the rest of the blocks and other relevant information!
Vanha Domus
Building A of Vanha Domus, which is the very first TOAS building, is being renovated at the moment, and all the interior surfaces and building technology will be completely renewed. The historical Vanha Domus will stay in a great location in Kaleva but it will get a brand new lease of life through the stunning and contemporary apartments.
The new apartments in building A will be open for applications in the beginning of the year and new tenants can move in during summer 2024. There is a total of 67 apartments, two of which are two-room apartments and the rest are studio apartments.
The other staircases of the location are still unchanged and we are waiting for the project to progress. We will give you more information when things are progressing.
Rauhaniemi
A new house, with 67 new apartments, is being built in Rauhaniemi at a fast pace. There will be studio apartments and small two-room apartments. The new building is supposed to be ready in summer 2024 and it will be open for applications already in the beginning of the year. We will inform you when it will be open for applications and about other important information during January!
Hippos
There will be a total of 290 apartments completed in stages in Hippos over the summer and early autumn. It will be possible to apply for the apartments in the first two buildings in the beginning of 2024. The apartments will be ready to move in during summer 2024. The first buildings will have community studio apartments as well as two-room and three-room apartments.
The next two buildings will have a total of 116 apartments which will be studios and two-room apartments. On the ground floor, there will be stunning apartments with a mezzanine and their own entrance and terrace.
The fifth building will have a total of 45 apartments which will mainly be studio apartments, but there will also be a few two-room and three-room apartments.
We will announce the date when you can start applying for the apartments in the first two buildings, so keep checking our website.
