The Prettiest Student Home in Finland 2020

Is your home TOAS’s or even whole Finland’s prettiest student home?

Finnish student housing organisations are organizing the Prettiest Student Home in Finland 2020 competition. You have an opportunity to showcase how cozy and beautiful a student home can be. Show us your home with photos and you have a chance to win amazing prizes!

The competition consists of both a local competition and a nationwide competition. The submissions for TOAS’s local competition will be published on our Instagram channel @toas_asunnot where the audience can vote for their favorite by liking the posts.

When registering for the local competition you will automatically participate in the nationwide competition, where an expert panel will choose one home to be the Prettiest Student Home in Finland 2020.

Who can participate?
Everyone living in a TOAS apartment can participate in the competition. A tenant under the age of 18 years must have the consent of parent or guardian. You can participate by yourself or as a group.

How to participate?
Register for the competition by introducing your student home with 1-3 photo(s). Time of the participation in the competition is 20 May – 3 June 2020. Send your photos by email to omatoas@toas.fi. By doing so, you give us permission to publish the photo(s) on our Instagram account.

We will post all participants’ photos on our Instagram account @toas_asunnot where the audience can vote for TOAS’s prettiest home 2020 by liking their favorite home. The winner is the one who gets the most likes.

When registering for the local competition you will automatically participate in the nationwide competition, where an expert panel will choose one home to be the Prettiest Student Home in Finland 2020.

How to implement the photo(s)?

• You can produce the material freely with any device. (phone, tablet, camera etc…)
• Material must respect privacy, as well as copyrights.
• Material must not be offensive or inappropriate
• Please note that square photos (aspect ratio 1:1) are the most ideal for Instagram. If the photo(s) are of a different size, TOAS will crop the images as we see fit.

Prizes

• Winner of the local competition: 100 euro gift card to Ikea
• Winner of the nationwide competition: 500 euro gift card to Finnish Design Shop

The winner will be notified personally via the contact information provided.

Schedule

• Registration time of the competition is 20 May – 3 June 2020
• Voting time for the local competition is 20 May – 7 June 2020
• Winner of the local competition will be announced on 11 June 2020
• Winner of the nationwide competition (chosen by expert panelists) will be announced by 20 June 2020.
