March’s seasonal tip

25.03.2022

With the spring sun shining, it might be a good time for you to wash your windows. You can also hoover or dust surfaces, including blinds. Close the blinds, vacuum them on both sides or wipe them thoroughly with a dry or slightly damp cloth. You can use washing-up liquid to wash the windows (mix about half a teaspoon of washing-up liquid into a bucket of lukewarm water, you can also add 1 to 2 tablespoons of vinegar to brighten your windows).

  1. Start by washing the outer glass. Dampen the glass with a damp cloth, move a squeegee over the glass in even, parallel strokes. Dry the glass after each stroke.
  2. Dry the corners and edges of the glass with a cloth, wipe and dry window sills. Be careful not to spill water on the floor or walls.
  3. Be sure to close windows carefully after washing. Wash your windows together with a friend, it’ll be more fun!
