Hippostalo’s planning is progressing

TOAS is constructing its largest new location, which is also Tampere’s first housing construction location that follows the alliance model. Tampere has had good experiences with the alliance model – the Rantatunneli tunnel was completed ahead of time and the Tram’s track work is similarly ahead of schedule.

A call for tenders was organised for the Hippostalo property’s planning and the project’s implementation in the spring. After comparing tenders, Hartela Länsi-Suomi Oy has been chosen as the project alliance’s service provider. The planning group includes Helamaa & Heiskanen Oy, Granlund Tampere Oy, A-Insinöörit Rakennuttaminen Oy and A-Insinöörit Suunnittelu Oy. The project’s alliance consult is Vision Oy.

TOAS and the chosen service providers signed an alliance contract on 1 November 2019, after which the project entered its development phase. The result will be cutting-edge student living.
